Our Newest Inside
Outside Star is our own Lora Lane! Lora
found us by purchasing a "Whole New You" silent auction item at the Witte
Museum Big Game Gala this fall. She is serving as our Director of Community
Services and will be our liaison
with all the non-profits we support with silent auction items or direct
donations.
Lora is seen at her 3 Screen Community Service Workstation!
Lora was born in Dallas but moved to San Antonio after she
met her husband, Dr. Mike Lane, who is a Cardiac Radiologist at Methodist
Hospital. Lora earned her Master's Degree from the University of North
Texas. She taught for over 20 years at various levels, most recently at
Alamo Heights Junior School. She occasionally serves as a substitute
teacher when she is not attending to their 3 teenage sons one teenage
daughter, and keeping track of their oldest daughter at the University of
Pennsylvania. We can't forget the family member who keeps them all laughing,
their
Miniature
Goldendoodle, Sophie. Lora will be attending some of
the events which we try to go to such as the
Impact San Antonio
gatherings
and the
Mind Science Foundation
Seminars.
In Lora's Own Words!
"Last
September, my husband and I attended the San Antonio
Museum of Art Annual Gala. As we perused through
the silent auction items my attention was
immediately grabbed by a sign that read “WHOLE NEW
YOU”. I read about the body scan and nutrition
prescription, and knew I wouldn’t be able to get to
Dr. Christian’s office quickly enough! When I
arrived at Inside Outside Spa I was not
disappointed. I completed the Whole New You Program
in November and by December I was amazed by the
change I saw in the mirror and the energy I felt
inside. I cannot say enough wonderful things about
the Hi-Lo Strength Training. The training is not
only challenging, but it is realistic. Who doesn’t
have 20 minutes twice a week? I have been so
impressed and thankful for Dr. Christian, that I
talked him into letting me work for him! The
atmosphere of the spa, the incredible workout, and
the awesome staff (Thank you Ely!) will keep me
dedicated to keeping the Whole New Me!"
