Peel with Dual Booster System.
This New Peel was introduced in Mid May 2017 and is a upgrade of their old
Precision Plus Peel.
The New Peel has a Dual Booster System Consisting of a
Lighten Booster: Extra Hydroquinone, Kojic Acid, Ascorbic Acid and Retinoic
Acid plus a
Brighten Booster: Extra Salicylic Acid
The first VI Peel was developed by Dr. A. F. Kalil, of the Vitality
Institute of South Beach, Florida.
Many of the peels in the past were very strong, penetrated into the dermis and were painful and required
lengthy recovery.
His initial innovative peel was composed of 5 different commonly used
acids but at lower concentrations designed
to penetrate only superficially in the epidermis.
Phenolic Acid,
TCA (TriChloroAcetic Acid),
Salicylic Acid,
Ascorbic Acid
(Vitamin C)
and Retinoic Acid (Retin A)
The New
VI
Precision Plus Chemical
Peel has a 25% booster of these
acids Plus the Lighten and Brighten Boosters!
The new peel also has an increased volume allowing for more passes or extra
product for the hands or neck.
The Peel comes with Precision Plus Pads containing Hydroquinone, Kojic Acid
and Hydrocortisone
which are used for the first two nights after the peel.
The acids all work in different
ways to improve Clarity, Rough Texture,
Fine Lines and
Pigmentation
due to Aging,
Sun Exposure and Post Inflammatory Pigmentation related to acne. It is
not helpful for acne scarring.
The Peel is virtually painless.
Please Note:
Dr. Christian does not treat clients with active adult or adolescent acne,
especially those currently under treatment by Dermatologists or other
Doctors skilled in the treatment of this complicated medical condition. For
Clients with Active Acne, who are not being followed by a Dermatologist, a
referral can be made and several articles related to the contributions of
diet, stress and hormones are made available.
On the
1st day there is a sun tanned like look and peeling usually begins on the
2nd day around the mouth and then
extends over the face
on the 3rd thru the 5th day with complete recovery by Day 6 or 7 for most
clients.
