Dr. Christian's American Gut Sample
We
now have the results of Dr. Christian's
American Gut Sample and we knew it would not be
average!
In
fact, he could probably sell his feces for
transplant!! A low ratio of Firmicutes to
Bacteroidetes is associated with leanness.
The
average, similar diet, same gender, similar BMI and
similar age person is about 50% Firmicutes.
Dr.
Christian is less than 20%. These favorable
ratios are probably due to comprehensive attention
to creating favorable
environments for this balance to occur including the
use of Prebiotics, Probiotics and fermented foods.
